Every year, the Legislature considers numerous bills that have significant effects on school boards 鈥� from school board governance, to funding, to labor relations and to student matters. It is vital that the voice of 蜜桃视频 Hampshire鈥檚 school boards be heard by state policy-makers.
蜜桃视频鈥檚 policy positions are determined by our members at our annual 蜜桃视频 Delegate Assembly. These Resolutions are adopted by 蜜桃视频 members and guide the positions 蜜桃视频 takes at the Legislature. In addition to advocating on our member鈥檚 behalf at the Legislature, 蜜桃视频 provides its members with weekly Legislative Updates during each Legislative session and a year-end Legislative Summary.
While it is important for the Legislature to hear from 蜜桃视频, it is equally important for the Legislature to hear directly from elected school boards as to how specific legislation will impact our school districts, communities and taxpayers. From time to time, 蜜桃视频 designates certain legislation as an 鈥溍厶沂悠� Action Item鈥�. On these specific items, 蜜桃视频 urges its members to contact their local representatives directly and help advance 蜜桃视频鈥檚 efforts.
